lessons in life

i lost a shopping bag yesterday amounting to -- well the amount is irrelevant (at least i'd like to think so) but the experience taught me an important lesson.

this prompted me to write down a few notes to self:
- don't rush
- take things slow
- stop, look and listen
- pay attention
- never assume
- do not take things for granted
- take stock of things
- breath in, breath out

lessons are tough and more often than not painful but important in life. it teaches you courage and perseverance. it shapes your character and personality like no one else. it gets you to see the real you and it makes you who are.
