let 's ring in the new year! the holidays went by so fast. time seems to get on at warp speed inevitably when your having fun. i'm now back at work with a few extra pounds on. serves me right for overeating on decadent holiday treats. now i'm back to eating fastfood and i'm starting to really miss my sister's cooking. i rekindled an old interest when i went home -- and that's the game of mah jong. it's a game introduced to the filipinos by the chinese. it's played on a square table and requires 4 players that would represent the 4 corners -- north, east, west and south. i think my luckiest side would be the east -- that's where i was seated when i won the most rounds. it's a fun game -- i think everyone should learn it!
