here's a poem i took from a book -- a love story that never fails to make me cry everytime i read it -- not to say that it's plausible but hey i'm a sucker for happy endings.
how can you put into words that don't sound trite
how can you put into words at all
when it's like some dark, hidden depth to your soul?
then there's love -- sometimes that says hate too
it says all right, if i'm not good enough for you
i'll climb my horse be it ever so flimsy
and pretend i was never, never possessed by this whimsy.
but now i can say i loved you this day
but i can't regret it nor ever forget it...
i loved you is all i can say.
how can you put into words that don't sound trite
how can you put into words at all
when it's like some dark, hidden depth to your soul?
then there's love -- sometimes that says hate too
it says all right, if i'm not good enough for you
i'll climb my horse be it ever so flimsy
and pretend i was never, never possessed by this whimsy.
but now i can say i loved you this day
but i can't regret it nor ever forget it...
i loved you is all i can say.
