very early in the morning (quarter to 7) of july 21, my cousin lizet and i drove to greenhills to get our copies of the last harry potter book. i had a book reserved at fully booked and, of course, i lost my receipt. fortunately for me, i had the foresight to photocopy it and so that's what i presented to the cashier. because there was a relatively long line, she didn't give me a hard time. she gave me my copy which i quickly browsed through (i read the chapter titles mainly and the dedication). I tried to read the first chapter while waiting for lizet (to finish chatting with her friend over breakfast), however, i was so sleepy (i only had an hour and half or so of sleep). so instead of a marathon reading fest as i had planned to do -- i slept the saturday away. i finally finished reading the book on sunday night -- i wanted to pace my reading and really take my time and savor the experience of reading the last book but i just couldn't put it down. i had to know how jk row...
